The Hague and Delft are easily accessible from the rest of the Netherlands and Europe by car, train, ferry and airplane. The Hague is fewer than 100 kilometres from the Belgian border and about 150 kilometres from Germany. Amsterdam and Rotterdam are also close by. Connections are also excellent within and around the city. A clearly defined network of streets and roads, often with separate lanes for cyclists, makes it possible to get to the various parts of the city quickly and safely with all types of transport. Airports

Train
The Hague has two international and well-equipped railway stations. From Hollands Spoor Station trains leave for Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Belgium and France. Trains for Utrecht and Germany leave from The Hague Central Station. Both railway stations operate a direct service to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (duration: 30 minutes). Thalys to Paris departs from Hollands Spoor Station, please book in advance for this train.

Ferry
Daily ferry services to Great Britain are maintained from Rotterdam and Hook of Holland at approximately 20 minutes from The Hague and Delft.

The Hague boasts an excellent public transport. More than 30 bus and tram lines and an efficient fleet of taxis will quickly and safely take you to your destinations in The Hague, Scheveningen and Kijkduin, as well as to the adjoining municipalities, like Delft.
